My name is Ta’Leah and I am a contributing writer for Portside. I am extremely passionate about writing, which is why I became interested in joining the club. My dream is to someday become a writer; I would be content with any career in the writing field, but my goal is to be an author with the accomplishment of writing a book. Along with my fascination of the written word, I also love to travel and interview others about their personal opinions, which is why journalism interests me. I have always admired the work of journalists: meeting new people and constantly learning new things from them. I feel like it would a really cool experience to travel the world and learn from it along the way.
